I am looking for an opportunity to apply my skills in the web design field.
I am naturally attracted to rich colors, interesting shapes, and fresh ideas. I love visual arts and enjoy the subtle and complicated connections between different objects. I originally pursued studies in Computer & Application back in China, but found no interest in a future involving programming or machine automation. By chance I had the opportunity to work for an Internet Service Provider as a web designer for 2 years (1998-2000, it was when China first stepped into the Internet), and I really enjoyed the feeling of creating something that looks good.
After arriving in Canada, I was still obsessed with the dream of being an artist so I started to study Art History at Concordia University. A new world of possibilities opened gradually and my heart was filled with great joy, although I felt compelled to start creating art with my hands rather than simply learning theories. I decided to attend a computer graphic program in Rosemount and returned to my career as a freelance web designer in my spare time. My clients are very satisfied by my designs, and I found that to be a great web designer is my only ambition. However, I have decided, after my time as a freelance designer, that I want to focus on design instead of spending time in finding clients and other chores. I want to work in a professional team to create better projects.
If I am given the honor to work for your company, I will bring a broad range of skills, and I believe my background and experience will help me become an asset to your company in a short time. You can check out my web design works, illustrations and CV to see what I can do. I would welcome the opportunity to further discuss this position with you. If you have questions or would like to schedule an interview, please contact me by phone at 514-3158694 or by e-mail at email@example.com.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
